Over the year's RFS volunteers have helped the aged care residents at Estia Health Dalmeny gain a piece of mind with fire safety.
"The RFS volunteers come in and inspect the facility, they have produced documents which were amazing - all to support our home and make sure everyone is safe," executive director Helen Blayden said.
"To show our appreciation and thanks for their support, we decided to invite everyone for morning tea with toasties and coffee."
Residents gathered for a small presentation where a gerni pressure washer was handed over to the RFS as a gift of thanks.
"We were pleased to present them with a gerni to wash their trucks," Ms Blayden said.
