MACS Exhibition
MACS is excited about this year's Annual Art & Craft Exhibition, which is now a big part of the River of Art in Eurobodalla! This members' exhibition has a grand opening at 6pm on Friday, May 24 at Club Narooma. Everyone is welcome. There are several categories of art and craft to view, a kid's activity table, an artistic surfboard raffle prize and entry is free. The public is welcome to view from 10am - 9pm on Saturday and Sunday, May 25- 26, and Monday morning until 2pm. During the River of Art, some MACS artists are joining in the open studio visiting plan in Kianga and Narooma, so pick up a festival guide from the Narooma Visitor Information Centre and explore the options to celebrate the Eurobodalla's art scene.

Quota's trivia night
A happy crowd of teachers, parents and trivia enthusiasts helped raise funds for Narooma Public School P&C at Quota's Trivia Night on Friday. The winning team, the Trivia Tragics, generously donated their $100 prize back to the P&C. Their team members included Nicarla Glyde, Sally James, Mark Beaver, Bronwyn Glyde and Lynda Simpson. Paul Sweeney, principal of Narooma Public School, won the raffle prize. Gilly Kearney's team won the squiggle contest for the most popular drawing of 'parents as volunteers', which was the theme. P&C president Rachael Niemoeller thanked Quota for hosting the event and said money raised would enhance the learning experience of the children at Narooma Public School. The next trivia night is on August 16, for the Narooma School of Arts Studios.
Narooma Camera Club
The camera club held an exhibition recently of members' photographs. Francis Keogh won the people's choice award with his photo "Dawns Transit -Australia Rock." Second place was Sue Lawson - ''Sunset'' and third, Krysia St Clair - ''Wired''.
Busking Championship
This Saturday, Narooma fills with music as 44 buskers take part in the third Narooma Regional Busking Championships. It is hosted by Narooma Rotary as part of the Australian National Busking Championships, and part of the River of Art. Each act performs at three or four of the 33 busker hot spots between 9am and 3pm. Narooma business owners have sponsored hot spots along Narooma's main street, the Plaza and Forsters Bay, while those in outlying areas have spots on NATA Oval where there is also a collectors car display. A free bus can take people between venues. A program showing hot spots and the busker timetable are available online and on the day. Buskers will compete for $10,000 in prize money.
