The Eurobodalla Shire Council is developing a series of integrated plans for the area, with a focus on the Crown land on the foreshore east and west of the highway, as well the Bill Smyth Oval reserve and NATA Oval/swimming and leisure centre precinct.
The council said the project will help the area reach its potential as an attractive and functional space for businesses, sport and recreation groups, residents and visitors. The plans will guide budget allocations and help attract grant funding to invest in tourism, sport and recreation for the community.
The council is welcoming feedback on draft concepts and ideas, which would be based on existing plans and early consultation with user groups and businesses.
