We have always been appropriate and we object to ending the live broadcasts. Our submissions, councillors' questions and our responses are part of the public debate about council decisions.
Mayor Liz Innes said that "small groups" had abused the session to "harass, bully, make defamatory comments and continuously promote misinformation." Cr Maureen Nathan said that council did not need to provide a platform for "other people".
This is an over-reaction to criticism and differences of opinion. Public Forum has been lively at times, but we only know of one instance where the present mayor has asked anyone to leave the room.
These "small groups" and "other people" are members of the public who want their voices heard by councillors and the community.
Councillors should lighten up and not censor the public.

Debilitating disease
An afternoon tea will be held at CWA Narooma rooms at 1.30pm on Wednesday, June 26, to raise funds for research into treatment and diagnosis of endometriosis.
At the recent Country Women's Association state conference, a donation of $34,000 was presented from the branch donations from the previous year towards medical research.
With your attendance, maybe the next donation will be larger?
Women who suffer this debilitating disease will know that diagnosis can take many years, can lead to fertility problems, and many lost days of work as a result of pain and other complications.
Diagnosis at present can be very invasive but, at the state conference, Dr Fred Wong, told of hope that in near future a blood test could give results due to certain proteins that show up due to this disease.
Your entry of $7 goes directly to CWA Medical Research funds and then all of that is given at the next conference to researchers.
All funds from the raffle which is $1 a ticket will also go to this fund. Come along , bring a friend or two and enjoy a lovely afternoon tea and learn more about endometriosis.

Winter appeal
Eurobodalla residents can join the fight against hunger by supporting Coles' fundraising appeal for food rescue organisation SecondBite to deliver meals to people doing it tough.
The equivalent of 80 million meals have been donated to Australians facing homelessness and hardship since 2011, including around 13 million meals donated by 220 Coles stores in New South Wales.
Funds help pay for SecondBite's ongoing operating expenses such as fuel, transport and refrigeration. Coles will launch a fundraising campaign in Eurobodalla over the next four weeks.
