The local Aussie Rules group sent five squads to contest the representative weekend in Nowra with more than 650 players taking part.
Sapphire defeated Western in a one-off women's showcase on Saturday with the locals getting the best of their opponents 7-2-44 to 5-6-36.
Players and officials said the Central West had an enormous height advantage, but credited the locals' ability to contest the ball and weave through tackle efforts for the win.
It was a great effort, the girls really showed a lot of grit and determination to run over the top of a good side. I'm proud of you all.
- Coach Shane Crowe
Bermagui's Katlyn Scott led the charge with two early goals as the Stingrays fought back from a half-time deficit to clinch the result.
Coach Shane Crowe said the win was well-earned after the ladies showed plenty of power from start to finish.
Crowe said after the match: "It was a great effort, the girls really showed a lot of grit and determination to run over the top of a good side."
"I'm proud of you all."
Three Narooma Lions Women were selected to the team - Sophie Taylor, Talia Moreton-Stewart and Zalie Betts.
Taylor scored the side four cracking goals and Betts was awarded best on ground.
Players said it was a tense game and Betts stood up to the plate.
She was awarded the team's best and fairest and presented a trophy from coach Crowe.
"Even though she dislocated her shoulder we still threw her in the ruck and she just battled all day," Crowe said.
Meanwhile, the under 13s outfit took out the weekend tournament with a narrow win over the Illawarra on Sunday.
After earlier suffering a loss to the northern outfit, the Stingrays flipped the script to down the Illawarra 24-15.
Sapphire Coast also took part in the 15s, under 17s and youth girls with mixed results across the weekend.
Officials said the players and teams had done the area proud with a great representation for the Sapphire Coast on display.
The players now return to the regular SCAFL competition teams to converge on Eden this weekend for a 'mega round' of senior matches.
