My owner feeds me just the right amount of food to keep me healthy and active. I feel great and have so much energy, not like that fat cat who lives next door! My owner and I have a great time together. We go to the park, or I get to run on the beach and swim. My friend Butch is an old dog, so he doesn't play much and his owner understands that short walks are best for him. As for me, I willingly strap into my harness for car rides and try my hardest to walk nicely on lead, despite the enticing smells I find along the way. And I always look my best when we go out. My owner washes and brushes me regularly, and although I'm not that keen, trips to the vet keep me in tip top condition. On Saturday afternoons we head to Narooma Nata Oval for doggie school. Sometimes I get a ribbon for my efforts, which makes my owner really happy. I do my best to be friendly with all the humans I meet, but it is really my owner that I love the most. I trust him to keep me safe - he is my best friend, and I know he trusts and loves me too. Happy dog, happy owner! Narooma Dog Training Club registration is at 1.30pm on Saturday August 10. Vinnies thanks
Vinnies Narooma gratefully thanks all those who have responded to our plea for blankets. We have had some lovely quality donations which made a warm difference. If you pop into Vinnies Naroomayou will see our window display which highlights Asian items for sale. By the way, it's a great time to start thinking about Father's Day. There's a variety of beer and wine glasses, also a good selection of books and puzzles.
