Will Douglas was arrested on Wednesday, September 4, after locking himself onto a drill rig in a rail corridor north of Clermont earlier that morning.
He pleaded guilty the following day in Mackay Magistrates Court to obstruction and was fined $1200, however no conviction was recorded against him.

- Will Douglas
Two fellow protesters were charged with assaulting an Adani contract employee as Mr Douglas was trying to lock onto the equipment and their case remains before the courts.
However, Mr Douglas said police several times refused to take a statement from him regarding an assault he alleges took place beforehand.
He has accused a security guard of restraining and assaulting him as he attempted to lock on to equipment.
"He had both of my arms and wrestled me to the ground, causing the device to lacerate my arm," he alleged to Australian Community Media.
"Police were very partisan.
"I attempted four times on Wednesday to (report) I had been assaulted. Clermont police refused to take my statement."
Queensland Police and the Queensland Police Minister Mark Ryan have been approached for comment.
An Adani Mining spokesperson said video footage of an alleged assault against a contract employee had been provided to Queensland Police.
The body camera footage would be tendered to the court.
"Our priority is the safety and well-being of our employees and contractors at all times," the spokesperson said.
Mr Douglas believed the security guard at the protest site was under prepared.
"(He) didn't have sufficient training," Mr Douglas said.
"We practise peaceful direct action, the only person I put at risk was me."
Mr Douglas said he lapsed into unconsciousness during his nine-hour protest and praised paramedics and hospital staff he treated him for dehydration.
He said he took responsibility for the protest and would pay his own fine.
Two protesters charged with assault have been released on bail but must not return to the protest site.
