A string of Eurobodalla Shire businesses have taken on the best the Far South Coast and the Capital Region could offer - and won.
They will now take on the state's best at the 2019 NSW Business Chamber State Awards on November 22.
Winning big at the 2019 Far South Coast and Capital Regional Business Awards were Fisse Digital, Yumaro, Southbound Escapes, Southlands Fruit and Vegetables, Jessica Hannan, of Coast and Country Occupational Therapy and Mogo Village Business Chamber.
Narooma based Fisse Digital won the Excellence in Micro Business category.
Disability service Yumaro, based in Moruya and operating throughout the shire, won the Excellence in Business award, edging out Four Winds vineyard and others.
Narooma-based tourism operator Southbound Escapes won the Start Up Superstar award.
The Excellence in Sustainability award went to Moruya's Southlands Fruit and Vegetables. The Moruya grocer supports Far South Coast growers and producers and defeated the mighty Perisher Ski Resort for the award.
The honour of being named Outstanding Young Entrepreneur went to Jessica Hannan, Coast and Country Occupational Therapy. Her employee Gabrielle Johnson was a finalist in the Outstanding Young Employee award, but was pipped at the post by a Yass Valley Council employee, Georgia Patmore.
Celebrations have begun in Mogo, after the Mogo Village Chamber of Commerce defeated its peers in Batemans Bay, Cooma, Moruya and Narooma to be named Local Chamber of Commerce of the year.
