The council said the existing Community Engagement Framework, adopted in 2017, was updated to include new legislative requirements for how and when the council engaged the community through its planning functions.
"It replaces the existing Advertising and Notification Code and includes public exhibition timeframes for development applications, amendments to local environment plans and creating or updating development control plans," a council spokesperson said.
Copies were available at the council's Moruya Administration Centre, at libraries in Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma and online at council's website, https://www.esc.nsw.gov.au/inside-council/project-and-exhibitions/public-exhibition
