Tuross Head and Ulladulla United product Tom Engelbrecht is headlining the ACT/NSW Country Comets as they take on Western Australia in round two of the 2019/20 Second XI competition this week.
After finishing second in last year's competition, Engelbrecht, who scored 36 and took 2/31 in St George's NSW Premier Cricket win against Parramatta at the weekend, and his Comets will look to record their first win on the campaign at Phillip Oval, after drawing with Tasmania in the opening round - a game which saw Engelbrecht contribute five wickets and 46 runs.

Joining Engelbrecht in the side is fellow South Coast product Blake Nikitaras, as well as Hayden Kerr Jason Sangha, Tom Vane Tempest, Joe Kershaw, Ben Taylor, Greg West, Tom Pinson - with Rhys Healy, Daniel Leerdam and Riley Ayre all set to make their Second XI debuts during the match.
