Narooma Rural Fire Service volunteer Jess McMIllan has returned from fighting fires south-west of Grafton and shared these frightening scenes.
The first video below was shot late last week in the late afternoon. The crew was on its way back from patrol.
"We watched the fire come down the ridge ... 30 minutes later, the whole street was under attack," Mr McMillan said.
A strike team from the Eurobodalla and Bega was sent last week.
Far South Coast fire crews continue to assist.
