Fine but quite breezy conditions tempered the scoring for the field of 132 players. In A Grade Dominic Connaughton loosened the shackles to register the best score of the day with 41 points off his handicap of 14. David Bennett posted 39 points to finish runner-up while John Ross from Kooringal in the Melbourne suburb of Altona edged out fellow visitor David Taylor from Young on countback with 37 points to take third place. B Grade was taken out by Mark Falconer with 39 points off his handicap of 17, while Gary Leahy was favoured by the countback to take second place ahead of Graeme Donohoe on 38 points. In C Grade Ian Vincent took the honours with 39 points off his handicap of 30 and Rod Holman was favoured by the countback to finish second ahead of fellow ex- Cootamundra member Don Caldwell on 38 points.The nearest-the-pin winners were Shaun Martyn on 3, David Bennett on 9, Robert Ackling on 14 and Andrew Vormeulen on 17, while the ball competition went down to all on 33 points.
SATURDAY 16th NOVEMBER
A large contingent of visitors swelled the field to 154 players and the absence of recent winds made scoring much easier, particularly for the visitors. In A Grade Jim Grant finished on top on countback with 39 points off his handicap of 14 ahead of Stuart Zalunardo from Mollymook. Paul Pavloff from Nowra took third place on countback with 38 points from Peter Ward, Mitch Jeffery and Todd Palmer from Newcastle. In B Grade Mullumbimby's Todd Unwin enjoyed himself immensely in scoring 43 points off a handicap of 20 , followed by Lindsey Jones from Nowra and John Rimmer from Queenscliffe on 41 points. C Grade was taken out by Mark Pesavento from Mollymook with the best score of the day, 46 points off his present handicap of 36. Ross Giblett took second position with 42 points, and Maureen Hayward edged out Tanya Desmond to fill third place on 39 points.The nearest-the-pin winners were Matthew Sedgman from Muirfield on 3 with a hole-in-one, Jayne Hotchkis on 9, Jason Jay from Nowra on 14 and Mark Smith from Ocean Shores on 17, while the ball competition went down to all on 34 points.
Narooma Ladies
On Monday 11 November 24 ladies played 4BBB Par. Winners were Marea Clarke and Jenny Walker with a score of +7. Runners up were Jayne Hotchkis and Marion Brooks with a score of +5.
On Wednesday 13 November 25 ladies played stableford. Division 1 winner with a great score of 40 was Jan Shevlin and the runner up was Jayne Hotchkis with a score of 37. Division 2 winner was Vicki Connaughton with a score of 34 and the runner up with a score of 30 was Janice Eardley. NTP on the 3rd hole was Marlene Hunt, 14th hole was Chris Matthews and the 17th hole was Jenny Walker.

Results for Thursday 14th November 2019 - Stableford
The conditions were right today for some good scores in all grades. Ashley Lamb (hcp 15) captured the top spot in A grade today with 43 points. Runner up was Robert Drew (hcp 7) on 42 points shading Dave Thomson (hcp 6) on 38.
Dave Webster (hcp 20) won B grade with 42 points. Bob Shearing (hcp 21) was next on 40 points shading Rob Cattanach (hcp 17) on 39 points.
The C grade win went to Ray Cullen (hcp 23) with 43 points shading Peter Hanks (hcp 26) on 41 and Andrew Whittaker (hcp 25) on 40 points.
Results for Saturday 16th November 2019 - Stableford
In taking out A grade today Henry Loth (hcp 3) scored eagles on the par 5 second and eighteenth holes. He carded 39 points for the winning round. Matthew Coad (hcp 10) from Traralgon Golf Club was next on 38 points shading Jeffrey Peel (hcp 15) of Tura Beach on 36.
A 3 way countback in B grade decided the win to Tony Stenhouse (hcp 21) shading Paul Rumble (hcp 18) and John Stichbury (hcp 17) all on 34 points.
It was good to see Bermagui junior Ryan Holdsworth (hcp 34) take the C grade win with a creditable 38 points. A countback then placed Terry Jack (hcp 27) as runner up shading our 2017 C grade champion Arthur Worthley (hcp 25) both on 35. Kevin Anderson of Tura Beach Golf Club collected the Bradman.

Bermagui Ladies Golf Wednesday 13th November- 18 hole Aggregate Stableford team of two: Winners of the day were Lesley Ashton and Fran Vercoe with a great score of 64pts, well done Leslie and Fran. Runners up, hot on the heels were Barb Stolk and Denise Flavell with 63pts.
