It was wonderful to see so many supporters of Marine Rescue Narooma enjoying the Quota Trivia evening in the Montague Room at Club Narooma last week.

Spokesperson for Narooma Marine Rescue administration officer Gilly Kearney thanked everyone for attending, and reminded us that 2019 is a very special year for Marine Rescue NSW, being its 10 year anniversary.
"Funds raised will go towards ongoing maintenance and operations at Narooma," she said.
It was a big weekend for Marine Rescue Narooma, with several members heading off the next day to attend a 2 day SAREX (Search and Rescue Exercise) at Batemans Bay and then Bermagui.
The winning team was Rapley's Rebels with Warwick Huntsdale, Jan Hemmingsen, June Hemmingsen, Karon White, Jan Rapley, Linda Evans, John White and Kevin Evans.
Some great Squiggles were created to reflect the ocean theme. Team Kearnage won with a very creative, but realistic, MayDay drawing. The team included Sue Stadler, Kay Lawrence, Peter Kearney, Ross Jones, David White and Gilly Kearney
The raffle - a fruit and veg box from IGA Dalmeny, was won by Linda Evans.
Quota's next trivia night is on February 21, 2020 with funds raised to support the Narooma Community Choir.
