Jolly season

'Tis the Season to be Jolly!' But sadly this is not the case for everyone. Our four legged friends can be easily overlooked while we visit and make the most of the season. If you need to leave your animals alone for any length of time, especially a dog, please check that they are safe. Good fencing, shade and water are essential, and a toy will help to keep him/her out of mischief. Find a space where your pet can feel secure. Some dogs thrive on the excitement, but others can be overwhelmed by lots of new faces - retire them to their bed or crate. They will be much happier. You may want to share your Christmas lunch with them, but don't over do it. Rich food can upset their tummies, and definitely don't give them any small turkey or chicken bones as they can easily lodge in the throat. Chocolate is an absolute 'no no' for dogs and cats. It can be fatal. Nuts can be a choking hazard, and raisins and sultanas in are harmful. Lilies are poisonous to cats? They cause kidney damage and death, so take care not to have these flowers in your home or garden at anytime of the year.

Coco's pitch

"I'm fierce like tiger, roar like a lion and run fast like a cheetah and ... okay, that's just on the inside. I'm a teeny, tubby, tortoiseshell, but I'm funny, cute and I don't eat much. Can I live with you?" Coco is five-months. AWL 0410 016 612. Desexing vouchers with concession card: 0436 816 718.
