Narooma CWA Handicraft has done it again.
At the Far South Coast Group Land/Cookery Day, held at Bermagui Sports Club on March 10, the talented members items brought home the trophy for top scoring in the branch items competition.
Handicraft officer Marion Cullen delighted in receiving a trophy from Far South Coast Group Handicraft Officer Rhonda Byrnes.
Mary Conley won the top award for her hardanger piece, and Pauline Cotterill won best item in competition.
The talented ladies meet Friday 10am-noon at Narooma CWA and are willing to introduce you to new handicrafts, help with current projects or just chat while you work. The cookery entrants were not successful and these were sent to give Blazeaid workers something to have with their cuppas.
Since less than 500 people attend the Narooma CWA Easter Saturday garage sale, we will go ahead this year. Any donations of goods would be appreciated and can be dropped in on Friday mornings or at the Wednesday, March 25, games afternoon at 1.30pm; $7 entry includes yummy afternoon tea and lots of fun. Games include Scrabble, Uno, Trouble, snakes and ladders etc. For information or transport email cwa.narooma@gmail.com or ring/text Joanne King 0408 433 178.
