Michael McDonagh, one of our most experienced walkers, was leader and "nailed" a perfect day, with some walking on paths that have been "less travelled of late" and some stunning vistas towards Montague Island, Fullers Beach, Nargal Lake and with Gulaga hovering over us.
It truly was a stunning morning after the rain and weather of late. Small Lagoons have broken out to the sea for the first time in many years and some of the larger Lakes will probably remain open for many months.
Marine life and ecosystems surrounding them will benefit for a longtime. We are so lucky to be able to live in this region and witness this renewal in these difficult times. If you are able to get out amongst it and refresh your soul it is an inspiring time.
