Residents can safely rid their homes of unwanted pesticides, batteries, paints, varnishes and more this weekend at Eurobodalla Shire Council's annual Household Chemical Cleanout.

The collection provides a great opportunity for residents to safely dispose of harmful chemicals that cannot normally be taken to waste management facilities.
The cleanout collection points will accept fungicides, oxidisers, weed killers, household cleaners, fuel, oils, syringes, poisons, acids and alkalis, pool chemicals, gas cylinders, medicines, fertilisers and smoke detectors, free of charge.
Asbestos, explosives, clinical waste and radioactive materials will not be accepted.

Narooma - Sunday, September 6, 8am to 2.30pm, Narooma Library car park, Graham Street.
Moruya - Saturday, September 5, 8am to 2.30pm, Gundary Oval car park, Campbell Street.
Batemans Bay - Sunday, September 6, 8am to 2.30pm, Hanging Rock Boat Ramp, off Beach Road.
