A mixed 5-a-side football competition is set to run on a vacant bowling green at Club Dalmeny.
Narooma Football Club president Josh Reakes said eight teams "would be ideal" and hoped to see more register.
"We've had about six teams register so far, and hope to get eight," he said.
"With eight teams, we could do an early kick off and a later kick off, with two games running at once."
Reakes said the competition was all about getting social outdoors and supporting Club Dalmeny.
"It's a good opportunity to get out and do something socially in a format that hasn't been offered in the area for a while, and at the same time supporting a local establishment," Reakes said.
Games will kick off next week, Thursday, November 12.
Reakes said two futsal-sized courts can fit on the bowling green, which has been vacant for a number of years.
"We will use futsal balls - they don't bounce as much and are slightly smaller than a regular size soccer ball," he said.
No football boots will be worn during games. Reakes urged new teams to register before Wednesday, November 11.
The competition will run on Thursday nights, commencing November 12 through to February 2021 (with a break during the school holidays).
Anyone turning 14 or older can play.
The cost is $60 for U14-U17 and $79 for U18 and over (discounts apply for players that participated in a Football NSW Winter competition in 2020).
