The Narooma Devils scored good wins in both grades in Round 13 of the Group 16 competition last weekend to lead into an exciting week for the club.

Next Saturday at Smyth Oval is Old Boys Day with all former players invited to come along and cheer on this year's teams which are both riding high in their respective competitions. Special focus will be on the players from the famous 2003 Devils team which won the Group 16 competition undefeated and also took out the prestigious Claytons Cup for the best performed team in Country NSW rugby league.

The First Grade players will wear commemorative jerseys for the occasion which will be presented by the 2003 team players, and a get together will be held at Club Narooma where the jerseys will be auctioned.

The Devils also hope to draw the huge Devils Super 100 Club after the Bega game, depending on all tickets being sold. They are $50 each with a prize of $2500 for the winner. Ring 0412 417 871 if you would like to buy a ticket!

On the field the Devils take on Bega in the last round before the semis with Narooma First Grade equal competition leaders with Merimbula-Pambula and the League Tag girls just one point behind first place in their competition.

The League Tag She-Devils played the red hot Eden team at Moruya on Sunday and displayed some brilliant football to convincingly trounce them 26-4, Right from the start the Narooma girls were firing on all cylinders with tries to Kristy Beecham and Halle Constable and a conversion by Jade Scrymgeour putting them ahead 10-0 at half time. Second half tries to Sarah Alderton, Sienna Anderson and Taylah Wright and two more goals from Jade saw them run out convincing winners 26-4. It was terrific to watch and great to see the girls hit top form at the right time. Best for the She-Devils were Halle Constable, Sienna Anderson and Kriso Beecham with Ellie Beecham the Players Player.

Next Saturday should see a feast of great football against Bega with the League Tag at 1pm and the First Grade at 2.30. There may also be an Under 18 game between Bega and Batemans Bay at 11.30.
