Narooma Police have issued fines of $1000 to three people who breached the public health order for COVID-19 over the past few weeks.

A police spokesman said a woman in her 50s from Wolumla was fined $1000 after she did not check in to Narooma Woolworths using the QR code and refused to wear a mask on Saturday, July 17.
In a separate incident, police said a man in his 60s from Greater Sydney was fined $1000 for travelling to Bermagui without a reasonable excuse on Sunday, July 18.
"He was turned around and given a lawful direction to return directly to his residential address," the police spokesman said.
On Tuesday, July 20, another man was fined $1000 after travelling to Bermagui from Albion Park without a reasonable excuse.
Police said the man in his 30s was fined and told to return to his residential address.
The police spokesman said none of the three people were COVID positive and none were infectious whilst in the community.
"Police thank the local community for their continued vigilance and for the vast majority of people doing the right thing," the spokesman said.
