Vinnies Narooma always appreciates the wonderful donations that come into the centre. Even though Vinnies is unable to accept electrical items, the centre is grateful for other quality items. At the moment, Vinnies has some really high quality watches just waiting to be worn. Fancy doing a jigsaw puzzle? Why not have a look at those in Vinnies. From the easy to the almost impossible, you will be surprised at the range. Just want to relax reading? Come in and have a browse at the books. And, if you just want to lie out under the stars - Vinnies has sleeping bags to keep you warm!
CWA share the dignity
CWA Narooma Handicraft group encouraged by member Marie Warden has in time for Christmas made up 9 Mums and Bubs packs, six backpacks and five ladies handbags. The Mum and Bub packs were sewn from donated fabric with embroidered inset. Essential items and some special donated ones have been included in all packs, many of these items made by the craftier members. Packs will be distributed. The non-crafty members thank all 14 ladies for their efforts. A little dignity for all. The choir group hopes to be back in 2022. If you are interested in the Narooma CWA contact Louise Starkie 4476-5131, Sally James 4476-1691 or send a message to cwa.narooma@gmail.com.
A fine time at the markets
On Sunday, November 14, Narooma and District Lions Club started a new season of Marketing at the Dalmey Community Hall. A change of outlet due to the forecast of rain for their BBQ and Christmas Cakes saw the club serving their delicious sausage sizzles from the halls' kitchen, as the usual Devonshire Teas were unable to attend. However, the sun came out, the stall holders unfolded in the Hall and spilled out onto the lawns and a steady stream of patrons attended the opening of the Summer Season. Many Christmas gift ideas were to be had and will be on offer again at the monster Christmas Market on Sunday, December 12. The Lions Club Market team, led by Jack Nott and his trusty team, thanks the community for their continued support.
Sausage sizzle & beer
Marine Rescue Narooma invite everyone to the Big Niles Brewing Co, this Sunday, 12pm-5pm for a tasty ale, and the traditional fundraising sausage sizzle.
Narooma View Club
The Narooma View Club is holding their last Luncheon meeting for the year - Christmas Lunch on Friday, November 26, 2021. It will be held at the Narooma Golf Club 11.00am for 11.30am. We are going to have a Trading Table, so would appreciate if items could be donated for sale, and as always money raised goes towards The Smith Family Learning for Life Program.
