Beer donation unites sporting teams

A GENEROUS donation of a dozen cartoons of beer from O'Brien's Hotel to each of Narooma's four winter sporting teams has gone down, well like a cold beer on a hot day. Publican Paul O'Brien said he wanted to do something for each of the town's sporting clubs who were all chasing support for the upcoming season.

TUROSS Heads' long wait for a doctor's surgery will soon be over. Southern General Practice Network (SGPN) has been working on establishing a doctor's surgery at the seaside hamlet for more than 18 months and the doors are due to open next month.
