Banjo King was the only swimmer from Narooma to compete on Saturday at Helensburgh winning five gold and two silver medals.
Banjo was joined by team mates George Mathews, Bradley Mathews, Aiden Miles, Riley Miles, Georgia Pendergast, Michala Pendergast, Tom Brown and Sophie Brown on Sunday at Ulladulla.
The weather was dismal with strong winds all day. Not ideal conditions for swimming fast, but to their credit the Narooma swimmers put in some great efforts collecting many medals and PB's.
George Mathews in the eight under boys freestyle got Narooma off to a great start with gold, followed by impressive swims in his butterfly and individual medley.
Brother Bradley Mathews put in admirable efforts in his events with the highlight being a great swim in the boys 200 individual medley.
Aiden and Riley Miles collected medals and PB's. Both boys are improving with each carnival they compete in. Keep up the good work guys.
Georgia Pendergast collected her usual bag of medals and showed everyone how good her freestyle really is, by finishing in fourth place just behind the place getters in the girls Open 200 freestyle.
Michala Pendergast continued on her winning way collecting manygold medals. A definite star of the future.
Tom Brown swam well in the open boys 200 individual medley as well as collecting a gold medal in the boys 50 breaststroke.
Sophie Brown swam a 20 second PB in her open girls 200 individual medley followed by a three second PB in the open girls 200 backstroke.
Banjo King added to his medal tally from the previous day with five gold and a silver from his six swims.
Overall it was a great day for Narooma Swim Club.
Well done to all our swimmers and congratulations on a great season.
