It will be known as Monty’s Place, Narooma and will operate out of the Kuranya Community Centre in Tilba Street opposite the Anglican Church.
Monty’s Place Narooma will be run by a number of churches and community organisations under the auspices of UnitingCare.
At a public meeting last Wednesday, June 12 a report was received from a steering committee set up last year, and a constitution for Monty’s Place Narooma was tabled.
The Committee is now calling for volunteers to join a number of teams that will provide the service on a roster basis.
As with Ricky’s Place there will be a strong emphasis on respect, acceptance and hospitality.
