Chamber president Orit Karny Winters went to the art students at Narooma High School to get them to come up with ideas for Christmas decorations.
The winning design created by Year 7 student Georgia Poyner consists of a whale draped in Christmas lights.

The IGA Supermarkets at Dalmeny and Narooma have come to rescue together donating a total of $1000 to start a fund for the project.
Narooma Men's Shed will organise the workforce, craft the designs and manage their approval, installation, removal and storage.
Another business coming to the rescue is Narooma Building Supplies, who have agreed to supply the timber and raw materials at cost.
The decorations will be attached to the premises of participating businesses and are planned to be up from November to January.
