Bermagui Primary School principal Neil Rutherford on June 17 came to the base, plunging his hand into a barrel brimming with raffle tickets and drew the three winners.
The winner of the Anglapro fishing boat with all equipment was R. Coote of Melbourne who fishes regularly at Bermagui.
Second prize of $300 was won by C. Roseberger. Third prize of $100 was won by local resident and Marine Rescue Safety Service member F. Kovacs.
Bermagui Unit Commander Alec Percival thanked everyone for their support of the raffle including volunteer members who donated much of their time to selling the tickets.
Around $9500 was raised and the money will go toward fitting out the base for training, radio and search and rescue purposes and installing the new vessel tracking system.
