Mick Diss had put a lot of time into setting up the range for the day and it comprised two separate courses that presented shooters with a wide variety of targets.
Rain was predicted and there was a hint of it before shooting started however it luckily held off until the last round and then came down with a vengeance, requiring a couple of placing’s to be determined by count-back rather than by the customary shoot-off.
The star of the days shooting was Holly Gschwend who shot in the Ladies division as there was no juniors division. Holly has only been competing for a short time and came in with a score of 107, putting shooters on notice of what is to come.
