Damper and billy tea was served, while there were various demonstrations and displays, including by blacksmith Iain Hamilton of Mother Mountain Forge, who recently organised the inaugural South Coast Knife Show.
Melinda Hurren of Narooma led the choir while Montreal Goldfield volunteer Chris Franks and “Oskar” the gold miner welcomed the crowd.
