PHOTOS: Narooma Rotary duck race entertains

THE annual Australia Day duck race organised by the Narooma Rotary Club once again raised funds for projects such as the Shelterbox program.

Narooma locals Saskia Loader won $1000 for first place duck and Jeanne Medlicott from the Narooma News won $100 for last place duck.

Assisting Rotary members on their own kayaks, were two rubber ducks from the Narooma Surf Life Saving Club and the VRA rescue squad.

Ginger Gorman from 666 ABC radio in Canberra, whose mum Pat lives in Narooma, could not help working on her weekend off and she covered the event giving it some state and national coverage!
