AFTER finishing on top of the ladder in the Euro Super League Saturday morning competition that has being running for nearly six months, the Dalmeny Devils team with Chelsea and Jemma Laurie and Sophie Foster had to play in the semis.

They travelled to Batemans Bay to play. Playing four sets, two doubles and two singles they won the semi four sets nothing, which meant they were through to play in the final that afternoon in Moruya.
In the final Chelsea and Jemma went down in the first doubles 6-3 which put the pressure on. Jemma was up for her singles and blitzed through with a 6-1 win, they were both even one set all. Sophie had a battle in her singles but after a long match ended up winning 6-4. Chelsea and Sophie went on for the last doubles knowing they needed to win; they both combined well and got the job done winning 6-4. Well done girls. Sophie also received a trophy for the division 4 Player of the Finals.
On the Sunday Sophie and AJ Foster travelled to Ulladalla to play in the South East Region Medibank Junior Development tournament. Sophie was the winning of her age group 9/U. AJ played five round games then got through a quarter and semi-final to the final in his age group in 13/U but unfortunately went down in the final to finish runner up.
