POLICE are investigating an incident where a car struck an 18-year-old pedestrian on the Princes Highway at the intersection of Harrington Road at 10pm on Thursday. He sustained minor injuries and was treated by paramedics on the scene.
RMS theft
SOMEONE stole five fencing panels from the Roads and Maritime Service construction site at the Wallaga Lake bridge overnight on Tuesday, June 17.
Fail to quit
A 22-year-old local man was issued with a fail to quit ticket after he allegedly refused to leave a Narooma hotel requiring police attendance on Thursday night.
Parking bingle
POLICE are hoping to contact the driver of the car that backed into a blue Holden sedan in the parking lot outside the pharmacy at the Narooma Plaza at noon on Wednesday, June 11. The two vehicle owners spoke to each other but failed to exchange details.
Bike fines
A GROUP of four local youths were seen riding their bicycles on the Centenary Drive, Narooma bike path without lights or helmets at 1.20am on Friday. Police will issue them with fines.
Speeding driver
A 32-year-old female driver was fined for travelling 10km/h over the speed limit at Hoyer Street and the Princes Highway, Cobargo on Thursday morning.
No seatbelt
A LOCAL female was issued with a fine driving without a seatbelt on Saturday afternoon.
Found purse
SOMEONE dropped off a women’s tapestry coin purse containing cash at the Bermagui police station last week. It can be claimed.
