In the absence of any favourable tide, the swimmers decided to swim across the length of Bar Beach, which is the standard default swim.

Mark "Podge" Rogerson fullfilled his duties as joke man telling his joke at the half way mark.

The swimmers then retired to O'Briens Hotel and the Raw Prawn Bistro for hot chicken and mushroom soup on the sunny balcony.

There are only two swims left in the season with the final swim being Father's Day before the swimmers head to Sydney, the venue of this year's Australian winter swimming championships.
