Narooma Legacy golf day success: photos

ANOTHER year, another hugely successful golf day, due mainly to the generosity of the local businesses and of course the golfers.

Legacy will benefit by $6,400 for the ongoing care of our deceased veterans’ widows, and their children.

This year Beyond Bank came on board as sponsors, which meant our expenses were covered, allowing all monies made on the day go directly to Legacy. After a lot of praying, the bridge was finished, the rain had stopped the sun and the whales were out; making the day enjoyable for the 92 players and the helpers out on the course.

Trevor and Michel had way too much fun at the barbecue, but made an exceptional sausage sandwich.

Dig deep and support Legacy Week 2014

THE year 2014 marks the centenary of the start of World War I.

As one of Australia’s most iconic charities, Legacy grew out of the ashes of the Great War and 90 years on still supports around 90,000 families of Defence personnel who have given their lives or their health for their country.
