It all started when Scott who had been putting on a bit of weight, was feeling unwell and went to the doctor.
Scott was hospitalised with blood pressure of 240/187 which is dangerously high.
The doctor put Scott or Mr Mazz as he is known to his students, on blood pressure medication and sent him on his way with some advice that if he didn’t get his weight down and get a bit active, he might not live as long as he would like.
Scott took the doctor’s advice and started walking, working out at Oddbods Gym on the Narooma Flat and dieting.
He changed his diet to eating six small meals a day, started walking three times a week for about 20 minutes and also joined Oddbods Gym where he started working out at least three times a week.
It didn’t take very long at all for the former body builder, 30 years ago, to start losing weight and taking shape.
In the first four weeks of his weight loss challenge, Scott lost 11kg.
Once again Scott started feeling unwell and returned to the doctors.
The problem, this time was that Scott’s blood pressure while taking the medication with his new diet and weight loss regime had dropped to quite low, so the doctor lowered the amount of medication Scott was taking.
During his training, Scott was also using a machine at the Oddbods gym that sends ultrasonic waves into the fat tissue which helps to break it down so that it is passed from the body during urination.
Scott has entered the Max's Weight Loss Challenge 2014 where you can see his before and after photos and read about his life changing program.
