Checking out the prototype reusable, non-woven shopping bag were Eurobodalla Shire Council environment officer Gillian Kearney and Tilba Chamber president Peter Lonergan.
The bag will be officially launched soon was the brain child of a collaboration between River Cottage, the Tilba Chamber, Eurobodalla council and South East Organisation of Councils (SEROC), which provided some funding to source the bag.
The discussion for Tilba to go one-use plastic bag free as a community will also feature in one of the episodes of Series 3 of River Cottage.
The Tilba Central School also have a high-end jute gift bag that is on sale as a fundraiser for the school at the businesses in Tilba, which is great for carrying and presenting gifts and is branded with a Tilba lo
