Appearing unrepresented before magistrate Doug Dick, the defendant, 24, of Oakey Creek Road, Wallaroo, pleaded guilty to driving with a middle range prescribed concentration of alcohol on the evening of April 4 in North Batemans Bay.
Ms Young, who had a reading of 0.109, told the court how hard it had been for her since she had been caught, when her driver’s licence was suspended on the spot.
Without public transport, she said, she had to resign from her job.
Mr Dick fined her $1000, and suspended her licence for six months, the suspension to run from the time of the offence.
