A CONCERNED resident reported to the Narooma News damage to the Bill Smyth Oval area caused by a hooning vehicle on the soft surface overnight on Saturday.
No reports were made to police at the time, but anyone seeing hoons doing damage should report them immediately to Narooma police on 4476 2044.
Mail allegation
NAROOMA police are investigating an allegation that mail failed to reach the destination it was meant to go to people in the Dalmeny area. Investigations are ongoing.
As the matter is currently with police, an Australia Post spokesperson said she was unable to comment further. If customers have any concerns about their mail delivery, they are recommended to call the Australia Post Customer Contact Centre on 13 13 18.
Items found
ANOTHER wedding ring was located in the Narooma Plaza car park on Monday morning, while a mobile phone was found on Corunna Road on June 11. Both items can be claimed at the Narooma police station.
Scam suggestion
WITH ongoing scam phone calls and emails in the Narooma area, police are encouraging residents to report these calls to the Australian Cybercrime Online Reporting Network (ACORN) or SCAMWatch websites.
Bermagui after-hours
BERMAGUI police are updating their database of after-hours, key holder information for Bermagui businesses. Business owners are encouraged to pick up and fill in forms at the Bermagui visitor information centre.
