Jason and Kerrie and their five children have been part of the Narooma landscape and have always been proud supporters of Narooma Rural Fire Service brigade.
The brigade has held displays and demonstration for visitors, to keep them aware of what to do in case of emergency.
The Beard family and the Island View resort have also been very supportive of the brigade and other community groups, such as Narooma Surf Life Saving Cub on many occasions, by hosting bucket and raffle ticket runs in the peak tours season to assist with fund raising.
“Partnerships like this are key, when keeping our community and its visitors prepared for emergencies and helps build resilience” brigade Captain Adrian Cooper said.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to foster this relationship with Island View staff and visitors each year - it’s a key community engagement and fund raising opportunity.”
The brigade and the rest of Narooma wish Jason and Kerrie and all the Beard clan all the best in their new adventure in Queensland.
