THE first Saturday in the month. The first round of the club Triathlon and the monthly medal stroke round resulted in a win for Dave Gray in A division with a net 70 just easing out Ian Wark who returned a 71.

In B division Ian Manton took home the winning voucher with 72 net from Greg Booth who finished second with 74.
John Englitis was best of the C graders with 70 with Peter Mostyn filling second spot with 71.
Brad Doolan had the best off the stick round of 75.
The putting competition was won by club captain Bruce Lidbury.
Nearest the pins went to A grade players Greg Smith on the 4th with 2.08 m. Col Houghton on the 6th with 0.40 m and Ray Bollard won the 7th with 4.41 m.
In B grade Greg Booth was best on the 4th winning with 3.36m. Reg Apps won the 6th with 2.16 m and Russell Elliott was closest on the 7th with 1.15m.
C grade player Peter Mostyn returned the winning shot with 4.80m.
Stuart Tierney closest on the 7th with 6.99m.
Next week’s event is the single Scoty stableford and is the second round of the triathlon.
Thursday's 18 hole stableford competition was won by Rex Wood with 36 points ahead on a countback from Jim Wade.
The single match play competition is coming to an exciting end with the final match to be played between finalists Allan Gannonn and Michael Allen.
Players are asked to keep a watch on the notice board for course working bee announcements now that the days are getting longer and we are hopefully coming into better weather.
