The proposed 50-metre tall monopole will be located on the north side of Mystery Bay Road near the intersection with Sunnyside Road.
NBN’s consultants will hold an information session about the tower at the Narooma Golf Club on Thursday, September 3 from 3pm to 6pm.
NBN meanwhile has already erected similar towers off Nutley’s Creek Road at Bermagui and off Wonga Road south of Narooma, and more are planned, including at Brushgrove Lane to service the Tilba area after an earlier location near the old abattoir was rejected after community opposition.

Dr Mike Kelly, Labor candidate for Eden-Monaro, meanwhile has launched a petition against the Abbott Government’s National Broadband Network (NBN) roll-out, which he says will negatively affect house values across large areas of Eden-Monaro, and result in higher costs for rural and regional residents.
Residents of Eden-Monaro who live outside of Queanbeyan or Googong - including those in Jerrabomberra - will be getting big ugly green cabinets and unreliable copper to the home because they are under the Liberal NBN, he said. Click here for that story
