Firearms seized – A man is expected to face court in January after unregistered firearms and ammunition were located under a bed at Coila last weekend. Police last Sunday attended a caravan park on the Princes Highway, Coila, and spoke with a 44-year-old man. Following a search of his caravan, officers located three unregistered firearms, two rifles, a shotgun and ammunition, locked in a firearms safe underneath his bed. He was issued court notices.

Bermagui pursuit – Police spotted a car being driven by a 34-year-old Cobargo man wanted on outstanding warrant issues at 5.55pm Sunday at a Bermagui service station. The Corolla sped off south on Bunga Street allegedly exceeding speed limits and was followed down the Bermagui Tathra Road where the pursuit was terminated for operational reasons. Investigations continue.
Car crash – Police are investigating an accident involving a car crashing into a parked car at the Wallaga Lake Koori Village sometime after 2am Saturday. A group of young people ran away after their car skidded off the road after the impact and became stuck. Both cars sustained significant damage.
Fence damaged – Police are hoping to speak to the driver of a car that skidded out on the Old Highway near the Corunna cemetery sometime before 6pm Saturday hitting a tree and then a fence with enough force to open a nearby gate. The car was driven off despite sustaining significant front and rear damage.
Alcohol stolen – Several bottles of spirits were stolen from the bottle shop at the Plaza and then from the bottle shop on the Narooma Flat around 7pm Friday. A suspect was identified from CCTV footage.
Kids warned – Narooma police at the request of centre management have spoken to a number of young people about not skateboarding or riding bikes at the Plaza. A 55-year-old Bodalla man meanwhile is barred from the Plaza for 12 months after allegedly harassing customers.
Objects thrown – Police were called to the Bermagui bridge around 10.30pm Friday after youths were seen throwing objects at cars.
Van hit – An unknown vehicle overnight last Satuday hit a white Ford panel van parked on Isobel Street, Narooma. Any information to police.
Magna stolen – A white Mitsubishi Magma was reported stolen from McMillan Road, Narooma overnight last Sunday.
Cover stolen – A black car cover was stolen off a car parked on Montague Street, Bermagui overnight Sunday.
Items found – A wallet found in the car park of Bermagui Woolworths Monday was returned to its owner. A mountain bike found at the Narooma police station on Thursday can be claimed.
Funeral attended – Acting Superintendent Kevin McNeil, Aboriginal liaison officer Eddie Moore and Senior Constable Rob Jory were invited to attend the funeral service of Ian Campbell on Friday.
