Needing to raise a large amount of funds to be able to transport the kids to Norfolk Island, the cadets have raised significant funds, but are short the bus trip from Broulee to the international airport in Sydney.
The board of the Narooma Sporting & Services Club stepped up to this request and donated $500 towards the trip, seeing as this as a very highly valued experience for the kids, and a great cause to support, club general manager Tony Casu said.
The unit recently held a recruitment evening and meets each Tuesday at Carroll College Broulee from 6.30pm.
