Two lighthorse riders and a small group of servicemen, relatives and Batemans Bay school students marched from the front of the Mechanic’s Institute Hall to the Nelligen cenotaph.
The crowd joined in a hymn following the prolouge, Claire Ison recited a poem by Mary Gilmore about World War I and distinguished guests laid wreaths at the base of the cenotaph.
A lunch at the hall followed.
A number of services were held across the Eurobodalla at various times.
