A 45-year-old Nambucca Heads man is being treated for arm, wrist, abdomen, chest and back injuries in Canberra Hospital.
A Far South Coast Local Area Command police spokesman said a 71-year-old Tuross Head man in a Kia Sorrento turned right from Hector McWilliam Drive onto the Princes Highway, into the path of the Nambucca man riding south on a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The 45-year-old man was treated at the scene by paramedics, taken to Moruya Hospital by ambulance and then to The Canberra Hospital for treatment.
Police said the 71-year-old man was taken to Moruya Hospital as a precautionary measure.
UPDATE 2.15pm: Snowy Hydro SouthCare has confirmed its crew has taken a man aged in his 40s to The Canberra Hospital emergency department.
10.59am: The Snowy Hydro South Care helicopter has been tasked to Moruya helipad to transport a patient to hospital after a motorcycle crash at Tuross.
The Bay Post/Moruya Examiner understand the crash happened on Hector McWilliam Drive, near the Princes Highway intersection.
It is believed the crash was between a car and a motorcycle.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said a male patient in his 40s was treated at the scene for arm, wrist, abdominal, chest and back injuries. He was transported to Moruya Hospital by road ambulance.
He said the crash occurred at 9.40am.
A witness said told a person nearby that a black Harley Davidson was seen lying on its side, in the middle of the highway, near the Tuross intersection.
It is understood a male driver was attempting to turn right, out of Hector McWilliam Drive, onto the highway and collided with the south-bound motorcyclists.
