A pop up library will be in place in the building foyer to keep locals in books and DVDs until the library reopens on Monday, September 12.
The first stage of the renovation in June saw the library repainted, with new furniture, shelving and a revamped kid’s area installed. Council says it was the library’s first refurbishment since it opened in May 2003. A mix of council and NSW Government funding was used for the project.
A grand opening to celebrate the new look library is planned for early October.
