Students from Narooma High School Show Team have just come home from a mammoth week at Canberra Royal Show.

Teacher Kylie Maher said the students participated in a range of competitions including Junior Judging where they have to judge three groups of four animals and place them in the correct order.
“Junior Paraders where they are judged on how well they handle the animals and parade the animal,” she said.
“Then students lead the cattle in the Limousin Judging, this is where our cow was awarded Reserve Champion Cow.
“This is a huge effort for the students as they spend many hours getting the cattle broken in and preparing the animals for the show. Overall all students did extremely well and come home with lots of ribbons.”
