Also performing was Narooma’s own Shanna Provost, who said this was her 22nd Senior Week concert at Club Narooma that started up in the old building up the hill.
Kicking off proceedings was Narooma Sporting and Services Club chairman Graham Reeve.
“They tell me this is the Seniors Week concert, but you’re all looking younger every year,” Mr Reeve said, who then went on to tell a few jokes as is tradition.
“I’ll put your minds to rest and tell you I am not going to get up and sing, but it's tradition that I tell a couple of jokes,” he said.
Next to take the stage was Elvis impersonator and “Australia’s Voice of the King”, Lemvis. First and foremost Andrew Leonard is a huge Elvis and Cash fan and has been performing as Elvis for almost 10 years and Johnny Cash for eight years.
Among the seniors in the crowd were Narooma locals Shirley, 83, and Tony Dellamarta, 87, with Tony's sister Pauline Baldwin, 83, from Cobram.
As is also tradition the two oldest citizens were named, Tony Dellamarta being honoured at age 87 and Joan Coventry at age 96.
Valmai Hunt from Kianga was there the day after celebrating her 65th wedding anniversary with husband Eric at the Tilba Valley Winery. Eric decided to sit out the seniors concert after the big day before.
Also there were original members of the Quaama, Bermagui, Cobargo (QBC) music club Joe and Mel Tournay and Joyce Collins.
