U7’s and U8’s as always showed enormous enthusiasm putting smiles on coaches and parents alike. Special mention must go to the players and coach of U8’s who provided spectators with a sensational contest and although no points are tallies for this age division Devils dominated their opposition with many crossovers and strong defence.
Bombala were missing an U9 Team so Andrews U10’s were next and showed their class with a resounding 66 to 0 victory over Bombala rewarding Andrews long term coaching commitment to this group of players who will be strong contenders for finals later in the season.
Our U12’s were also without a game with Mod Girls taking the field and delivering another strong result rounding out winners 34 to 4 for the Devils.
Great sportsmanship was displayed in the U14’s where Devils took 20 team members to Bombala and levelled the playing field by sharing some of our players with Bombala and huge congratulations to those boys that nominated to play against their own team. Devils were too strong again and posted a 24 to 6 victory here.
