Eurobodalla Netball resumed on Saturday after a couple of weeks off for the Holidays. It was a stunning day in Broulee. It almost made Kristy wish she was camping.

The Narooma Shooting Stars had an incredible win against Broulee’s Fairy Peppers. Topaz, Emily and Claire all brought their A game, and with star shooters Meah, Bridy and Team Captain Libby made an unstoppable team, held together with outstanding passes from Lilly and Chole.
This first-year team has improved out of sight since their first game. Thanks to Tilba Lolly Shop, Team Captain Libby not only gets to walk away with a smile and a win, but a Lolly Shop voucher as well. Incredible game from the girls.
First week back of the 2nd half of the netball season proved challenging for the Narooma Nightmares, up against Broulee Blackmore Cleaning.
Each and every girl gave their all but the game just didn’t come together for them. Their teamwork got the ball to the circle but the Court 4 goal posts were a cursed nightmare for the Nightmares. The ball shot up, onto the ring and almost went through, but then somehow didn’t go through- It was inexplicable!
Our Shooter’s spirits were diminished by this consistent jinx. The Nightmares continued their game with guts and determination until the end, never giving up. Unfortunately the Nightmares were defeated 36-15.
Again, another thrilling game by the Narooma Flames. The first half saw the Flames trailing behind the Tuross Titans. However with some clever tactical and positional changes the Flames came back to finish with a convincing 21-14 win. Lucy Wollnough deserves a special mention for taking a ball to the face on her birthday
The Narooma Comets played a thrilling game against a much improved St Peters team. The girls started the game fairly poorly and by half time were down 8 – 3.
A half time dressing down from coaches Rogerson and Stubbs seemed to have the desired effect and the girls started playing the style on netball we have become accustomed to.
Allie Mae and Charlotte got the middle third operating well and the ball movement up the court improved enormously. Luka and Grace found their shooting range and the goals started to flow.
The Comets had their noses in front at three quarter time by one goal and continued their dominance in the final quarter to take out the game 18 – 15.
