12.07pm: A man is trapped after a motor-vehicle accident on the Princes Highway near the Brou turnoff.
A Fire and Rescue spokesperson said the man was trapped after his vehicle rolled. A Narooma crew is working to free the man.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said two paramedic crews were called to the scene about 15 kilometres north of Narooma at 11.30am on Wednesday, March 6. She said a 59-year-old man was trapped, but appeared to be uninjured, and was not reporting pain. He was conscious and breathing.
A third paramedic crew was en route to the scene.
The area near the Brou turnoff and Brou tip intersection has been the scene of several crashes, including head-on collisions.
The crash came just 30 minutes after the NSW Coalition promised $960 million to upgrade the highway to Moruya, however the highway south of Moruya remains in urgent need of repair.
